Abstract: The main objective of this paper will be an explication of Wojtyla´s accent on correlative relation between a moral and a personal experience. It will be done in three steps: First, to show a specific link between moral and human experience; second, to justify the relevance of Wojtyla´s research method analyzing a moral act as phenomenological as well as ontological fact; third, to clarify the normative character of Wojtyla´s ethics. I will focus primarily on Wojtyla and only secondarily on his confrontation with Scheler and Thomas Aquinas who both examined moral experience isolated from the personal experience.

Key words: Wojtyla – Person – Anthropology – Morality – Normative ethics
